Illusory Death Traps

British Waterways Commissions Street Art to Slow Reckless Bikers

Illusory Death Traps

British Waterways wanted to find a way to slow down careless bikers along the Regent’s Canal towpath in Islington, North London, so they paired up with street artists Joe Hill and Max Lowry.

These talented artists created an illusory three-dimensional cliff that must be working like a charm, because British Waterways are planning to paint other areas of the city.

I bet Joe Hill and Max Lowry didn’t think that one day their street art would be helping to increase the public's safety.
